Retina

The retina is the thin sensory membrane which lines the inside back surface of the eye. The retina fuctions like the film or digital sensor in the back of your camera. Abnormalities of the retina include infection, structural changes such as tears or detachment, degenerative changes such as macular degneration, and vascular diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Our services include the most advanced methods for evaluating the retina for evidence of these abnormalities, allowing us to intervene when indicated to preserve or restore vision.
