Elizabeth Cockerill, O.D.

Originally from Greenfield, in southwestern Ohio, Dr. Elizabeth Cockerill is a graduate of Ohio University and The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Upon graduation, she completed an ocular disease residency at The Eye Center of Toledo. She provides primary eye care to patients of all ages, with a special interest in contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation. She was named the 2009 Ohio Optometric Association’s Young Optometrist of the Year. She volunteers to educate local students about eye health through the Realeyes program. She also has been the clinical director for the Ohio Special Olympics Opening Eyes program, which provides free eye glasses and vision screenings to Special Olympics athletes since 2013.
In her spare time, she enjoys rollerblading, basketball, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. She is married to her husband, Chauncey, and has 2 daughters.
